Why we decided to form digital designers through internships, courses, talks, and workshops.
The digital universe is not a vast expanse, but rather a small digital neighborhood, where everyone knows everyone. In Argentina, there are institutions that offer UX/UI design courses, but the reality is that these courses often lack a comprehensive understanding of the field.
In the face of this context, we at Flambee Digital Design have decided to take on the challenge of involving ourselves in education and training our own digital designers through internships, intensive courses, talks, and workshops.
Our goal is to share everything we know with the community and for more people to learn what we do at Flambee Digital Design. We want to contribute to the growth of this field every day,” said Guillermo Torrigino, CEO of Flambee Digital Design.
When Flambee Digital Design started to grow and we had to expand our team, we realized that there was a lack of comprehensive training programs for UX/UI design in Argentina. Many students who graduate from these programs lack the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the real-world demands of UX/UI design.
After years of talking to the community, we noticed that many students who graduate from UX/UI design courses lack personalized feedback and experienced instructors who can provide guidance on their work. This lack of feedback and guidance can lead to students feeling uncertain about their skills and abilities.
That’s why part of what we do in our daily work is to provide students with hands-on experience and personalized feedback from experienced instructors. We also focus on teaching students how to work in a collaborative environment and how to communicate effectively with team members.
What do we learn at Flambee Digital Design? One of the first things we teach is that UX/UI design is not just about creating visually appealing designs, but also about understanding user needs and behaviors. We emphasize the importance of designing solutions that are intuitive and accessible.
We also teach junior designers how to use design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and how to work with stakeholders to understand their needs. We believe that by providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the field, we can prepare them for successful careers in UX/UI design.
We want to continue to play a role in shaping the next generation of UX/UI designers in Argentina. We plan to continue offering our digital media and workshops, and to provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and personalized feedback.
We also want to continue to partner with other institutions and organizations to promote education and training in UX/UI design. By working together, we can create a more comprehensive and effective learning environment that prepares students for successful careers in UX/UI design.
Ultimately, our goal is to create a community of UX/UI designers who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of users.
